Hey guys
Just thought I would vent at my now multiple attempts to buy Modern Warfare 2, for the 260, on ebay. Every single time I have been "sniped" at the post by someone/group/retailer who probably has a watch on just about every copy..... : I am getting rather sick of it, and while I realise that such a game still has massive appeal/demand and thus commands a higher price I am sick of getting pipped by punters that have, quite litterally, whacked on a huge price and guaranteed themsleves the win. If anyone has a copy of this game, on the XBOX 360, genuine PAL version, and wants to offload it please PM me...... I will be completely upfront in saying that I will pay about the $60 dollar mark. But then again you could always much more from ebay then couldn't you... I have had my rant, I feel better now |

Maybe try watching the item, and then bidding at the last available time, but with ebay it's a bit of a lottery and you just have to hope to get lucky.

Hi Fordman
Yeah I do watch items, I do think that at the moment I am probably up against retaillers that will buy and then sell at inflated prices in their stores. Today I saw a copy of MW2 for 109 bucks second hand... You can buy it for $89 NEW at JB....... Crazy |

Why not just buy it new for $89 then?

Still has massive demand? I traded Modern Warfare 1 in about a month ago and got $55 for it! that's how much demand there is!

Either that or just purchase and import from PlayAsia.com and save yourself some serious coin.

Only problem with PlayAsia is that I have to get PAL version, because of my 360, so it might not be the saving I have in mind.
Ah, just having a rant. ;) |
