Hi! I'm new to these forums and i came here to ask the opinion of Ford and particularly Escort enthusiasts- I want to sell my 1972 Escort, but the fact that i have been told that it may be a collectible, teamed with a couple of minor faults and my inexperience with selling cars, i have no idea what price to put on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Details are as follows-
-1972 Mk1 Ford Escort -2L Engine -T-Bar Automatic -Engine was fully re-built and re-conditioned 2 years ago -All new door seals -Brand new battery -New floors -Paint job is in great condition -No rust -Registered for approx 6 months -Minor faults- small fixable ding just near headlight, and odometer has not worked for a while. Once again, any help, thoughts, and opinions are welcomed! Thanks! |

Welcome to the Forums zootalowno!
The Escort is definitely a collectible car these days, particularly the Mk1. A 2L engine & auto was not a factory combo, but shouldn't deter buyers. I'm not to sure about pricing but depending on how much work is needed perhaps $5k as a starting point and go from there? |
