Finnish driver Mikko Hirvonen co-driven by fellow Finn Jarmo Lehtinen, has given the M-Sport Ford Fiesta S2000 rally car built and run by Malcolm Wilson's M-Sport company, a stunning debut win on the Monte Carlo Rally

Go the Fez! And on it's first ever official race, I hope the future brings more of this. Will certainly dispel the 'hairdresser car' moral people have haha.

Good news, but next time how about a title like "Monte Carlo Result (Spoiler)" for those of us who were planning to watch the rally review on Foxtel on Wednesday?

The result has been noted on One HD, not to mention Fox Sports News already. That's like saying no one talk about the V8 Super Cars till I've watched it, or if you do put 'Spoiler Alert' all over your thread despite the race was yesterday? Unrealistic. If you were going to find out it might as well be on a Ford site, right? Regardless, it's a great trophy for the Fez.

This rally is part of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge and I doubt it will be covered on ONE HD and I think M-Sport decided to enter the Rally as it was a good test for Hirvonen and the Fiesta which will both be part of the WRC in 2010.
I agree with danny, it's a great first-up victory for the Fiesta.
