use baking soda if you want to get rid of any odours...should make your fragrance last longer cos it doesn't have to compete with nasty smells....ambi pur is good...i like the rainforest one or ocean breeze

Essential oils... lemon is particularly good at absorbing odours, eucalyptus, sweet orange, any of the citruses.

Don't put girlie smells like Lavender (can make you a bit sleepy), and steer clear of Roman Chamomile cos it will put you out like a light and you'll crash (think of Chevy Chase in Vacation).

Just put a few drops on a tissue (less is best, too much and it can give you headaches etc) and wedge it under your seat. When the smell runs out, do it again.

If your GF has PMS, put Clary Sage around

Do you smoke in it?
If so you are fighting a winless battle.

I first of all turn the heater on full recycle and spray Glen 20 into the intack vent, this will kill germs and bacteria that is causing bad smells in the heater system, whilst the fan is on High, alternater to Cold and all outlets.

Amly then put a smelly in the car. It will keep the air fresh rather than fighing the smell.

I also spray Glen 20 on seats and roof lining too.

If you want a full 'wog spec' air freshener get a Vanilla Tree and hang it off the mirror. You'll be fully sick.

But the best air freshener I've found that's even better than Vanilla Trees is the Shell Servo Vanilla that comes in a little yellow bottle. It's a deoderiser (sp?) as well so it kills smells not just masks them up.

Same, I use the ones that clip to the vents (not the round ones, the smaller ones). I'm thinking of clipping one to one of the rear vents in addition to the front passenger side.
Might have been the heat, but I think the cardboard tree-shaped ones worked better on the Telstar (wedged in the rear ashtray).

Matches

Mind you my court order still has several months to run, but I just love the smell of burning matches!
