Smile Fixing dryed Interior door handles

Just thourght i should let all you guys know how i solved the problem of dryed Interior door handles.

all i did is go over them with some wet'n'dry until it when't smooth, Hence it removed all the dry flaking plastic, I also did the same to the demister switch and now it looks like new.

thats great, wouldnt do it too often cause after a year or two there might not be any plastic left LMAO

LAYM: sorry i haven't got a digitil camera only the film one

INITIALD: it took 12 years to dry out so it should last at lest 8 years,hopfuly

Hehe yeah the handles could be starting to get on the thin side :P

Maybe a couple of coats of some type of sealer to finish them off, or even a lick of paint too?

wet/dry sandpaper
its very fine grade sandpapers you use with water

You could try Ford, not sure if they'd have them though, worth a try though. But you could probably find good condition ones from a wrecker, they also probably won't even charge you for them.

Unless they can see into your pockets they wouldn't even know you've got them ;)
They're hard to constantly remove without wrecking them. sucks..
