how much roughly would it cost all up to get every bit and piece of a T5 to fit in eb?? dont worry abt prices @ mechanics bcoz its just cost a fortune, i better off doin it at home.

what else do i need beside a T5??

and whats the aprox price on each item?

Cheers

My conversion cost about $1000 all up on my EA after I had to replace the clutch and flywheel. You will need the t5 with bellhousing, pedal box, flywheel, clutch kit, clutch cable, tran fluidand the little clip attachment thingy that connects the cable to the pedal.

I think that's it from memory.

Bear in mind damaged 5 speed E Series Fords from the auctions start as cheap as a few hundred. For anyone with a bit of spare time and working space, by the time you wreck the rest of the car you'd probably have yourself a free conversion. :P

As always spare funds should be kept for miscellaneous bits like clutches.
