Default Change from paper tickets

Workplace Health and Safety (licensing)

New legislation in Queensland will make it illegal to use old paper tickets to perform proscribed work from 30 April.
These are occupational licences that cover things such mobile or fixed plant operation, crane drivers, scaffolders /riggers etc

My Construction white card does not have a photo on it.
Issue date 2006, no expiry date. With no expiry date it must be for life, legally.

The construction induction cards are another matter, Queenslands is a blue card and I think from memory WA is green. These are all under review for formal standardisation, which will possibly include time limits and photo ID, The blue card in QLD is somewhat of a strange colour, as you need a blue card clearance to work with children,(though some would argue there are probably a lot of "children" working in construction)

Tell me, did you get yours done by Max Phelan too? Mine's exactly the same, and yes it's for life, and apparently, valid in every other state. Or at least that was the case in 2006. Everyone I know is using 4,5,6 year old cards still though. They haven't expired as far as anyone in the industry seems to be aware.

There are a couple machinery licences that needs refreshing every 3 years though, so does First Aid certs, and heavy crane is every year.
