Had some heavy rain at our place (Northwest), but not sure about the car yet. I won't be shocked if I have some dings though, as when we got home from the shopping centre yesterday, there were small holes in our sun-weakened laserlight over the front porch!

To this morning 10am, we had 39mm of rain in less than 24 hours!

I guess I'm off to Bunnings tomorrow for some zincalume! LOL! I suspect new guttering as well. Ah well, better put the public holiday to good use!

Wow, come live in Brisbane. Theres been a few places lately that have recorded upwards of 3-400mm over night. Brisbane has received multiple days of 100mm in a few hours in the last couple of months. But no hail like you guys.

^^^if you had full comp it should be covered, not 3rd party though.

I was super lucky, was in lygon st when it hit and I did 3 blockies looking for a park, gave up and then parked underground..phew!

Feel for those effected though.

my car got caught in a severe hail storm a couple of years ago. had well over 100 dents in it across the top sides of the car and the shoulders.

NRMA repaired it all. Paintless Dent Removal is your friend.

GIO does cover hail damasge, but the 7 day repair guarantee is not given for hail damage:

Those four hail stones together are smaller than the individual hail stones that hit my cars. Try tennis ball size. We are in the most effected area.
