Default How to replace Auto shifter globe

Hi all
Been working on the car and have done a quick how in my workshop section

I replaced the auto shifter globe from white to Blue. Go the bling..LOL

PS the first post was half finished the next has the full set of images etc

looks pretty good. the only thing i would do differently is use a led globe in there, cause it's a pain to change and a led globe will last a lot longer than a standard globe.

but it's good to see people doing write ups especially for people who haven't done it before

Yeah I though about it...Led cost $12 for 2, non Blue cost $7 from Parklea markets.

holy crap that's expensive...fair enough then, i guess unless you have the headlights on all the time you probably wouldn't go through one non led globe in the life of the car...

Or you just grab the bottom of the console near the handbrake, stick your hand in and twist out the bulb holder and change it that way

Helps if you know where you need to feel though, like headlight bulbs, always easier the 2nd 3rd...400th time

I have done that dozens of times in the taxis

I did it your way the first time....once

IT'S a t10 size bulb

and the cheap market LEDs do last less than your traditional globes. From my experience anyway. I've been through tons. And need to replCe my blue shifter one now!
