It used to be a daily job for me, too. Two Shepherds (German ones, not the 'watching flocks' type), with heaps of cattle ticks attached.

They only burrowed their head in under the skin, and when they tapped into the blood supply, their bodies swelled. No way that they could crawl under the skin!

Ouch! I firmly believe that hammers and groins don't mix. No matter how big the d.........(i mean) tick.

I did go to the doctors yesterday 'cause the effected area was starting to go red and the annoying pain wouldn't go away. After 2 hours wait :-( i found out that i had managed to pull the whole tick out and that the swelling should reduce today (and i am pleased to say it has)

On the funny side, i told mum about where it was and she wanted to have a look at the area. "Yeah, nah i don't think so!" i says.
"It's nothing i haven't seen before," she replies.
"Yeah but that was 25 years ago!" Stuff that!

Ha Ha, once went motorbike riding with a mate who lost control going downhill and crashed into an anthill. His balls swelled up 4 times the size and went purple.
He was in soo much pain and when we got him home his mum insisted that he show her. He was 15 at the time and was sooooooo ambarased.

The mates and i couldn't stop laughing at him. Mean pricks we were

I watched a friend remove a tick last week from his belly button, he put rid on it first to try and get it to back out, but got to it with the tweezers and it just exploded!!
