Default 1949 Ford Pilot

Hi Guys, stumbled across this site http://www.whatsinyourpaddock.com.au
some interesting cars and stuff for sale.
One that caught my eye is this Ford Pilot http://www.whatsinyourpaddock.com.au/ads/212
seems quite reasonable for a vintage V8 Ford, obviously not as collectable as a 1949 Deluxe or Mercury, but no where near the price either.

How rare is this thing, and how collectable is it ?
Cant say I have ever seen another one of them.

Awesome website! I want that Hillman Hunter! 22,000 miles all original for 3k!! Too bad it's in WA. I'd V8 a Hillman Hunter in an instant hehe
$12k for alot of those cars seems pretty good though. I'm guessing it's a deceased estate as they're all from the same collection from the looks of it

The pilot is pommy so they are all rhd..
My uncle had one..Had the bigger side valve..
One thing I had to be carefull when driving was the brakes..
The way my uncle drove .. It was just as quick as the MklV Zephyr we had at the time..
