Anyone know if there is a difference between the EA MPFI throttle cable and the EB (4.0l) throttle cable? I know the linkage on the throttle body is slightly different.
What about the cruise control cable also? I'm gonna try swapping throttle bodies back to an EA2 one, so I can get the right tps running - it may fix some of the issues with the car. I just couldn't really be stuffed finding new cables - my throttle cable is barely 6 months old and the cruise cable is fine too. |

Both cables are the same, just TB and linkages are different.

How did I know you were going to reply :nutsycuck
I suspected as much, just needed a little clarification. Is the mounting bracket different therefore on the EAs? Where the cables go through before the throttle body - I would think it would have to be set further back to get the right length of exposed cable. I guess I'd better check it out at the wreckers. |

Yes the mounting bracket has to match the TB.
