Default 2010 Drag Nationals Roadtrip

Hi all!

Just curious if anyone is going to head down to the nationals to watch/compete. I'm considering doing it but the 2 day drive is daunting to say the least. but I'm sure it would be much more fun if a few of us from SE queensland made the trip down... prove once and for all our fez's aren't girly cars... well except for yours Shroomies :P

PM me if your interested and I'm sure we can work something out!!!!

Would be great to see a few more different types of Fords instead of the the usual field of Falcons.
Racing DYO rewards the most consistent car not necessarily the quickest car, we had a 17 sec Nissan Navara win once and a 16 sec Territory.
Need any assistance just ask..

a slight hijack of the thread whilst on the topic of speed....

has anyone ever had the traction control kill the power completely when shifting from 1st to 2nd when driving in an 'exuberant' fashion?

seemed to kill the engine for like 2-3 seconds... i dont know whether it was just surprised it got wheel spin into second or what...

nobody can not underestimate one mean blue fez, Shrommies!

I was called a girly driver, I am a dude and I drive a Fez, and I told them, do not underestimate my ride, mate and in the end, they got to shut up. My stock Zetec Fez beat a souped up nissan, yeah right!

If he had an aftermarket Pod on the car, it would of sat behind that head light more than likely. so by removing the headlight more air to the pod etc etc etc.

I might make an appearence for this one Fled. .... depending if my SC is in by then.
