Going to run some quad throttle injection on a pinto (from tweak it) and are a little confused about the best Engine Management system to run. The engine has had some significant work done to it and carbies will be to much of a cluster *****..
What have you got |

wolfs cheap has good features but not as preciser tune as others. I'd go megasquirt three to be honest. that way you can search the net find a car with a similar set up download the map from your pc to the ecu then get it fine tuned.

i looked at running twin 45's on my pinto, but couldnt find a good set. imported a megasquirt kit & GSXR throttle boddies from US. Cut down a std manifold and had some alloy tubes welded on. It also runs commodore wasted spark ignition using a falcon VR sensor. If you have the time, it works out cheaper and alot more tunable than webers and points. Steep learning curve though, so do your homework first...

If I attached correct, their should be an enginebay (dirty) shot. You can see the coils on the rhs strut tower and the throttle bodies. I can take some closer photos if you want more detail. I've included an earlier shot of unfinished job for interest. With the aircleaner in this location inlet air temp was approaching 90degC at idle. Stage 2 I made a sheild around the filter and punched cut out the factory stamping marks the radiator support panel, this was better but still about 20 to 30degC above ambient. The aircleaner is now behind the grill.
