I'm a christian too. We may have to start a thread to find out how many Christians are on FFAU (although admin may not approve according to the site terms and conditions _ ) . We seem to be a rare breed these days!

I'm a Christian but I don't listen to so-called heavy metal Christian rock bands tho - I tried, but not my cuppa tea...

Relient K are definately up there with the best. Even if your not a christian, if you like Blink 182, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte and Green Day, then check out Relient K, especially their latest album, 'Mmhmm', which is absolutely brilliant - better then Simple Plan and Good Charlotte and at least equal to Blink 182 and Green Day.

Also, check out Anberlin. Very, very good rock band.

but the winner for the best christian rock band? without a doubt - U2.

Has anybody heard the band Kutless?

I heard their song 'Strong Tower' on the radio today its awesome!

Can anybody else recommend any alternative rock maybe even pop type christian bands?
I dont like heavy metal or sappy christian bands even though its still trying to promote good the music genre still sucks.

Just on a tangent... Today I heard a radio ad for Switchfoot's Brisbane concert. I heard it on Nova, who play some controversial artists as well.
