Default Fuel filter?

Ok so I went and bought a new fuel filter aswell as oil and oil filter to service my car. I finised the oil change and all but when I went to change the fuel filter I couldn't find it. Looked everywhere in the engine bay but couldn't find it unless I'm blind.
Anyone know where it is?

Thanks
Matt

The fuel filter isn't in your engine bay, it's underneath. Don't forget it is in a pressure line so to release pressure pull out your pump relay and try to start your car. This should let the pressure out. The filters themselves can be a pain to replace, mainly getting fittings undone.

look on the inside of the passenger chassis rail, behind the passenger seat, basically next to your trans. bit of a ***** of a job compared to the engine bay swap i was used to as well ;)

Fuel filter is located at the rear of the car, in front of the fuel tank. Will require good quality 14mm and 19mm spanners, and the other side has a quick release fitting. Simply grab the plastic fitting with 2 fingers on the cerated tabs on the fitting, push the whole fitting into the filter, push the tabs in and wiggle the fitting off. U must push the fitting towards the filter to release the tabs then pull of with a wiggling motion. Good luck
