so ive heard that the subaru wrx seats are a straight fit into the escort mk1 or 2 unknown?... if this is right.. what model subaru? what model escort?
if this is right then i was thinking maybe the subaru seat rails would be alright for race (style) seats???

well after a little bit more searching there was something about a type of pulsar? not subaru... anyone?

Rob the wifes got a Subby and the lads got a few Escorts I'll check tomorrow but doubt it, and unless your lightly built ther Subaru seats seem to be a pain in the hip bit narrow.

yeah sounds like me.. :P ... thanks les but i rang Phil (the escort shop) and apparently its the Pintara seats... im assuming the model after HR31 style

No worries, checked the Sub and the seats won't go straight in, Chap over the road has a pintara wrecked with good interior will measure when I get a chance. according to my brother whom I bought the lads Mk2 off it has Pintara front shock inserts to give more strength for racing but can't guarantee that till I put some side by side. Certainly stronger than the Mk2 normally is.

delt with a little bit... he has just about anything you can think of... went down there for a bootlid for the 4 door and ended up with heaps more... he has adjustable coil overs, 5 speed boxes etc...
