Hey everyone,
as the title says i am just wondering were on a 1969 Ford Capri you would find the VIN/Chassis number??? Its my brothers car. This would be great help to us! Also its for sale if anyne is interested, Its a 1969 Ford Capri, has been painted WRX blue, Has a 9sec Driveline in it! Its a 383ci Chev (i dont like this) 2-speedpower glide with a 5,000rpm stallie, trans brake, linelocker, 9" Full Spool with 35 spline axles! It has all the go fast bits! It is a far way from been rego'd. Anyone want more info let me know. Mainly just after the Chassis/VIN number. Thanks so much guys |

sounds like a real mean machine....go hard.... normaly on the shocky tower.. but why are you looking for it its not orginal anymore with that big horse power,,,,,, and also look on top of the radiator panel on top there should be number as well....... cheers...wogboy |

The chassis number (which starts with CK) on a 1969 Capri will be stamped on the highest part of the slam panel, to the rear of the bonnet lock mechanism. There will also be a J number stamped on the top of the drivers side strut support, between the two inner bolts - this was the car's original engine number.

Yea mate goes really hard! The driveline came out of a 9sec capri, so this one hasnt run it but all you would really need to do it to put some fat slicks on the rear and away you go!!! There is a guy interested in it and its so he can do a rev's check on it i think. All i know is he asked for it and we are just lloking for it. Cheers |
