Default I've been impressed with the focus.

For the last 3 days I have had the pleasure of driving a Focus as a loan car from Prestige sunroofs in Burwood and initially I thought it would be a gutless little buzz box. Couldnt be further from the truth, It was fantastic , zippy, well built, easy to park , economical and best of all the handling was super, it clung to the bends from Beaconsfield to Emerald with ease. All round a great little car and I was impressed...

Too bad I still don't have my Focus. I'd happily have swapped it for the XR8.

I wouldn't have minded an XR8 over my Focus XR5.

What type of Focus did you have the pleasure of driving? It's good to hear that the Focus has earned the respect it deserves from another muscle car fan. If only there were more...

Im not too sure what model it was, they fitted a big screen stereo/sat nav/ dvd/rear camera in the dash and it fitted just right, I dont suppose they are a factory option?

I don't believe they are an option. There has been talk in other threads about buying them aftermarket however there is an uncertanty over the units quality and as such no one on here has purchased one.

I suppose what I was really wanting to know was if the car you got was one of the turboed XR5's or not as the build quilty of the XR5 is a little better than the other models.

It wasnt a XR5 but still was a great car, so that means the XR5 is a beast.
