While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Hey Wil, welcome to the smart state mate
I went past your door twice today...went visiting rellies up at Cooroy.
I live at Wishart on the southside, but a few of us get together at Harry's Diner (Windsor) from time to time, also there's a cruise on now and again, so probably catch up with you sometime soon.
I'll also be going to the AFD as well on Sunday.

As soon as Parkes is over, I want to organise a run to Harry's.
So we'll set a time/date that suits as many people as possible.

Sounds like a good idea. Might see if I can get into town this time. Can't guarantee anything as cricket season has started.

I can just see you playing cricket with another 21 lechers on a friday evening. Even watching Indian telecasts would give a brown dog eyestrain.

Parkes is shaping up to be a ripper this year, too bad you can't make it.
Next year will be bigger n' better than ever, each year is exponential.

Harrys is a good place, burgers are the go.

There's another joint called 'Munchies' across town a bit & a retro like Harrys down the Goldie on Ferry Road.
In their own way they are all worth a visit, although I get out of Munchies early as the bogans turn up around 8pm or so and draw the crabs a bit.

Consider for a moment; you're slothing around the house, it's Friday 29 October, 2010. The Pub turned you out last week; the Missus............ well the less said about that the better. The kids have driven you up the nearest wall; all you want is OUT.

Here then is a way out, get it together n' meet some like minded at Harrys Diner, 104 Newmarket Rd., Windsor QLD 4030.

Location Map
Let us know if you can attend. To maximise attendance the date is optional & open to negotiation.
Turn-up time of around 7.30pm seems satisfactory.
