In my area about 12 months ago, 2 teenagers died as a result of interfering with a blokes car. He chased them down in his HZ holden, the kids in a Vn commodore, hit
them in the rear quater, and they lost control and slammed into a power pole. To make things worse there was a baby in the car, that ended up in the park. (Baby didn't die.)

While browsing status updates on Facebook today, I noticed a "friend" had posted saying she "WILL damage your car if you park in a 'parents with prams' spot, without having a baby seat in the car".
A friend of hers said she carried a craft knife for situations just like that. Though to myself, that's a bit harsh, sure it's inconvenient to you, but really, they don't deserve that, and how do you KNOW they don't have kids in a carry capsule or something? So I made a comment that that's pretty over the top, there is never a reason to vandalise someone's property like that, and that it's a very poor example to be setting for your kids. She and her other 'mum' friends all clearly disagree because I came home to an abusive email, and was removed from her profile (good riddance I say!). I cannot work out how anyone would think that it's ok to damage another person's property because they don't like where they're parked.

Had a similier post on Facebook where a friend of mine said she hates being told what to do... one of her friends replied that "she gets violent towards people" who do that towards her.
Hmmm.... must be unemployed im guessing??

I can understand, disabled parking close to the front doors at shops. But parent parking is taking it too far. What's next, obese parking.

I don't think parents want to walk through a busy carpark with their baby. Either way, it is a stupid reason to damage a car, and I bet the person who posted that would be pretty pee'd off if that happened to her. |

Obese parking sounds good to me. The alternative... park too close to my daily drive banga and hope I don't damage your car when I try to squeeze in. I won't park in a tight spot and have no sympathy for anyone that parks me in. I'll happily sit on anyone that objects. The answer, as some carparks do, provide bigger spaces for everyone. |
