Im considering buying one of these replacement fuel pumps for my AU. It looks identical to the origional. Is made by GTAustralia.
Has anyone had any experience with these pumps? (they are about 1/5 the cost of a new Ford pump.) http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-FALCON-F...item4152c6607b Appreciate any advice. MP |

If you go to the site you listed, and look at the seller's feedback, you'll see the dude that last bought one. Click on his name and see how you go. GK

I have just recieved an answer from 2004terrye as follows - Dear laurie0744,
Have fitted pump and is working fine. Before you purchase check electrical plug on top of tank as mine was corroded on one pin which caused old pump to fail. Have cleaned this connection and all is well. - 2004terrye Hope this helps someone out there, it did help me, Regards, Laurie. |

I bought one of the AU v8 fuel pumps anyway, quality looks good, it appears identical to the origional except one of the pickup hoses is different.

Which ever way you go, just be very careful of the rubber/plastic isolator/mounting bushings- they split easily. |
