AAAAAHHHH my eyes....

This car features some liberal doses of FAIL.

I love the original Superbirds...but that thing is hideous. Proportions are totally wrong.

The original was a work of art..

This is a nice retro look back, allthough the Superbird was based on the Plymouth version of the B series body (Charger/Roadrunner body), not the Challenger/Cuda E series bodies.

I actually like it. Great piece of retro styling in my opinion, the lines and proportions of the donor challenger suit it really well.

As a Full on MOPAR man at heart, that is NOT a good reincarnation.

These idiots obviously didnt know that the original was made from a CHARGER. NOT CHALLENGER. The proportions are totally wrong, they DON'T match up. They should of used the current charger (albeit being a four door, which itself is wrong "A four door Charger WTF????". That may have looked good. The old SB was LOONNNNNNGGG & elegant. The Challenger is too short & stubby. Old Superbird: Marilyn Monroe, "New" Superbird: Bridget the Midget

To be honest this is a cop-out. Like a tuning company grabbing a FPV GT, modding it out to look "retro", then slapping a GTHO badge on it.

Nope, sorry, I'm, a diehard MOPAR man but this is wrong.

Credit for trying. Good on you guys, but that same credit is wiped out by the result.

Pretty cool, great idea. Execution is actually alright although that rear wing is about 4 inches too tall imo.

Unlike most "performance" cars of today, the Daytona / Superbird was form over function. It was designed for top speed at NASCARS new super speedways like Talledaga. The nosecone was basically made long and low enough to fit the Charger front guards, headlights, etc. The grille opening was small and they were pretty notorious for overheating. The rear wing was made high enough to allow the boot to still open (but it was adjustable). They already had the Charger 500 fiberglass rear window insert to clean up the airflow over the car. In NASCAR form with single four barrel 426 Hemi, they hit 200mph on the super speedways .. Before they were finally hobbled by authorities.

The original charger ones are like a kick in the pants in the looks department, but in a good way, a very very good way. Although the challenger one (to me) doesnt really have it, could probobly grow on me though.

The original had a reason for existing (homologation) this one doesn't. Are the fender flares real?

And seeing as Plymouth is dead shouldn't they have tried for a modern day Daytona?

I bet it'd be easier to do the "beep beep" horn with today's technology.

I've had a good look at the photos and I reckon that without the rear wing it would look tops.
