Default Au Cruise Control, pedal jutter ?

Any advice?

Have never noticed before, or its an upcomming problem, but on the drive up from Melb to Syd this week I noticed that the Accelerator pedal is really skipping up and down (not smooth like i would have imagined).

It seems to be fine under acceleration and deceleration, but whilst trying to maintain a speed it seems to bounce/ skip/ jutter on the spot like it cant decide where to be ?? Can just feel it through the work boots, but is really noticable in bare feet.

Any help would be great, Cheers Cant...

If you mean while it is in cruise and you have your foot resting on the pedal, this is normal as the cruise cable will over ride the throttle to keep it at a constant speed whilst going up and down undulations

Is the car maintaining a constant smooth speed mate? Mine's been all over the place on cruise control since I've had it. Pain in the butt!

Whoosha, its not like it moves up and down like going up and down hill, but more like the misses vibrator is on the other side of the pedal !!!!

Panup, it maintains cruise as per normal most of the time, occasionally it does surge for now reason and go all over the place, if i use cruise my fuel ecconomy goes straight down the toilet too........

Thanks guys

Tell ya misses to keep her bag zipped up in the back of the car
It may be time to have the modual checked out as it sounds likes like it could be pulsating from the power source, its a pity cars carn't run the idle up on cruise like truck at least then you could have a look engine side to see what is happening .
