my au3 fairmont has a body kit on it. did the au 2 come out with a body kit on the sides? nice car mate. fanstasic job on the detailing. one thing that really gets dirty are the alloys. i have to jack my car up one day and take all the wheels off and clean behind.

hey HCL
paint your tow ball and stuff black so it doesn't stick out and blends in... that was the first thing i did to my ute and i would highly reccomend it as ford towballs rust like yours (and mine) and it looks sh*t otherwise mate,, that is an awesome car!!

Nice pickup, very clean and the Fairmonts are a great start for mods.
Re sideskirts, all AU3 models had factory ones but on AU2 the only models to have them were the Classic's, S-Packs and XR's etc. Fairmonts didnt have them. And in regards to your insurance, I would check but I had my old car insured with NRMA and they were fine about mods. The only thing you couldnt go messing with were stuff like turbos etc etc (although for a price im sure you could, i just didnt get that far) and camshafts were the main no-go stipulation. Check with them, but you should be fine to do stuff like exhaust, lowering etc.
