Sorry if this has been covered already but had a little look at the Australian Bureau of Statisticson road deaths 1925 to 2003 and thought i would share. I cant remember when the fixed speed cameras were introduced but you sure can see when seat belts came in.
I thought they keep bangin on about the death toll rising, that will always be when the number of idiots on the road (and not so idiots) on the road multiply.
