I have a 2L pinto that i would like to stroke as much as posible if it can be done ? Can anyone tell me if the usa 2.3L rods would do the job ?
Any one done this before ? Cheers .... Daz |

Sorry changing the con rods won't do this... the 'stroking' (no pun intended) you are after is done by changing the crankshaft...
Changing the crank to increase the stroke will also have the effect of reducing the max RPM - do you really want to do this? You'd be better off taking the motor to an 'overbore' condition, then fitting a good cam to suit your needs... Cheers Engine Guy |
