Hi fella's,
Just downloaded a game off limewire and it's a Rar file or somthing and i cannot open it. Any one know why or how i can open it. |

Yea, what file(s) are in the RAR archive? Im guessing its a CD image? .bin .iso or something like that?

A folder and a few 3dmax exe things as well as a directx exe. Normally when i click on one of the ones with exe it opens the install program but not this time.

why not use Limewire to download the WINRAR program from?
off topic but sort of related: if anyone hasnt heard: there is NO legal way to transefer music to an IPOD in this country. that means that anyone who has an IPOD with music on it can be prosecuted for piracy and theft. no, im not joking either. when it comes to the crunch, it doesnt matter how big the fish is. they can still fry. |

It sounds like this is a bodged up version, whereby you extract all the files to a folder, then run one of the EXE files. Or maybe theres a .REG file which "installs" the program. Or try running one of the 3Dmax EXE files after extracting everything to a folder.
