Default profile picture?

how do i set for my profile picture to come up on my posts/ threads,
unless its just my computer?
i have selected a pic but its not working?? any thoughts?>

It's the Avatar image that appears below your userid, not the profile picture.

Try uploading you pic as the avatar (via the user CP)

As above, you've set up your profile picture that others can see when they look at your profile. You're after an avatar image to appear under your name when you post. You can edit it in the user CP.

You also need to remember that avatars can only be uploaded if they are a certain size.

If it is not loading, it may be because your image is too big.
