I cant see anythign really different that FPV has done here apart from the front bar, which knowing FPV that will probably transfer over to a update in the next 6 months or so, but i can go to pedders, a local sign shop and a wheel shop and mimic all they have done there, i couldnt even see a special badge?

I think the fact that FPV are considering offering upgrades and bringing out special limited edition models that incorporate some of the upgrades here is awesome! This car looks stunning! I agree that a trip to pedders will sort out the ride but factory parts are always more enticing when you're spending the amount of money on a car that most here are, especially for re-sale.

FPV only care about building cars that people will take off the showroom floor and drive.

Could they care less what someone could do to it by fitting aftermarket parts? That is none of their concern. They can only build a car to suit their ride and handling benchmarks/philosophy. They also have ground clearance requirements and noise requirements that a lowered version with an aftermarket exhaust doesn't.

what im saying is i could go buy a factory fpv currently, and probably spend maybe 5g at a wheel/suspension shop and replicate what they have done, this is nothign special, there isnt even a special badge to say its a special model. once again, fpv produces a sticker pack and the diehard fans go gaga over it.

i am a ford fan dont get me wrong, but since ford removed the xr8 and forced me to pay fpv money for it i realised this isnt a company that tries to keep its true enthusiests interested

I agree, but the diehard fans aren't happy the car they are releasing is nothing but a sticker pack with a few black bits, and not the better specced car like the concept.

The concept was perfect, exactly what everyone wanted.

Then they don't do it. How do you think people would react.

The didn't have to do the concept. As it was a concept.

In all seriousness they shouldn't have bothered doing anything.

As a concept it does everything a concept should do.

-It got attention, on the internet, in magazines and Newspapers.
-Shows off wh will be found in future models, the bar and wheels will pop up in the future.
-It stole the show, for years holden have been building one-off concepts to steal attention away from big reveals from Ford, and Effigy got world wide attention putting Holdens name on the world's plate.

All Holden had at the motor show was Series 2 Commodores with "green technolgy" Ford had a brute, snorting muscle car.

Win.

Its not the concept car. Its just a black GT with different stripe package and the piano black interior from the (G6ET?).

Off Facebook - this is just as good as the concept car as alot of ppl who have posted say it's just a paint job & sticker kit - Ford Listened to you bawahahahaha

Responding to the overwhelming feedback received on the FPV Concept, revealed at this year’s Australian International Motor Show, FPV have taken the popular black-on-black treatment and applied the stealth-looking paintwork to just 125 units of the current supercharged Boss 335kW GT, creating the FPV GT BLACK.

Check out www.fpv.com.au tomorrow for further information.
