Default Bpr Cai Fg Xr6

Will i lose low down torque from having the bpr on a N/A FG XR6?

ahah yeah i normally im not in a rush, but once it goes off new posts its pretty hard to find, and ive gotta make my decision today if i wanna buy it before someone else buys it (its 2nd hand)

Its only going to improve it ... if the air is coming into the engine faster and with less restriction then its only going to be better..

thanks theo, thats what i thought but my mate (probably jealous) was saying nah youll lose power and youll probz get a hydrolock, haha freaked me out a tad but i doubt much water would be getting in behind the light anyway! atleast youd hope so! haha

theo would you be able to state some good things the cai will do for me?

If you do a search on the forums you will find all the info you are after ..
You will find out what the customers think of our CAI not me doing a sale pitch to you...

Hi Cartaa,

I have the growler CAI, & have had no issues with low down torque, in saying that, my mate has the FG as well & has the bpr CAI & loves it, no power issues at all. You wont go wrong mate.

just wondering has anyone modified there blupower cold air box to still work with factory snorkel? e.g. drilled hole saw hole in side of box to suit diameter of snorkel pipe was just thinking about it wondering if anyone has tried it.

^ I have been thinking the same thing. I mean I am sure lots of air gets in under the light but could it hurt to have more?

We have tried this in testing.. the snorkel picks up radiant heat from the raditator and brings hot air into the CAI .. DONT DO IT PLEASE...
