Then went back with PIG PIPE and SS INDUCTION fitted and averaged 126kw and peaked at 133kw......
Oh then i did a run at REDCLIFFE DYNO back in august this year and got 133rwkw before PIG PIPE was fitted..................

Now car has been fitted with a brand new Exhaust system and Advance headers and with the other goodies the car has around the 140rwkw and it feels like it too when you open it up.

Thats my view on things.......
Peak and average power is all dyno BS dynos lie The stock intake isn't really a worry on a 140rwkw car.

The pig pipe seems to have made a considerable difference in my car. Has anyone else had dyno tests. Interestingly the results from the workshop section state a considerable difference in pigs car

Between 0 and 5rwkw with cats back, and maybe as much as 10rwkw with headers. But your torque curve shopuld improve as well, as should throttle response. It's not all about increasing power - some mods just bring the power lower in the rev range, while others flatten out the torque curve.

Initialy without changing the headers, I’ll do that later. Your right, the extra power is not what I’m after, I would like a nice sounding note coming through the exhaust and the feeling of a bit more power from low in the rev range.

Will these be noticeable changes??

I find this interesting.

My ute is basically this, and when I had it dyno'ed last (CAI being the only mod, 50mm restrictor ring in the TB for gas), it pulled 141.8 RWHP, which is 105.7 RWKW.

I'm hoping it's more now because of the headers and new cat back, but like I've read a million times here, dyno figures mean squat, it's about the track time.

These stock figures look kinda low for a 4.0 litre. When I tried my AU2 (unmodified) car it didn't feel that slow, it felt like it could do the 0 - 100km/h in about 7-7.5 seconds.

My car is an AUIII basically stock and it ran a 16.3. I have a cat-back exhaust and some intake mods and pulled 113rwkw. But that extra power, is cancelled out by the added weight of my 18s and other stuff. So it's a fairly accurate indication.

These numbers are just a guide but I am pretty spot on and not into BS so its what you wouldn't be unhappy to get out of a stock AU.

Run it at the strip or borrow a gtech and see how you go.

Which figures look low? The power? Well 157 is what Ford claimed (from EF on, I think) and 105 is about right for rwkw.

The times would also be about right. If your unmodified car "feels" like a 7 second car, then your internal clock must be fast. LOL.

Anywhere around 9 seconds for an auto AU is about right to 100km/h. According to G-Tech, the best I have done in my wagon is 8.5, which is pretty good considering stock is 9+, but nowhere near jonbays or useless' modded wagons (7 to 8 seconds).

believe it or not, ****-dynos are actually even more subjective and open to misinterpretation than chassis dynos

EL2 XR8 manual 0-100 is 7.6 seconds.
AU1 XR8 Manual is around 7.2 seconds
AU1 XR8 auto is 7.8 seconds (mine does 7.2, but it has exhaust and intake mods)

I meant the figure of 8.8 seconds. It just sounds slow, but I guess when you're behind the wheel it feels fast enough (I am used to driving V8's..). When I get my exhaust and headers done, I should feel the power of the I6 a bit more (& louder to I hope).

I beleive the average stock 250kw T3 T-Series would put out the following..
T3 T-Series Auto 195rwkw
T3 T-Series Manual 205rwkw

T3 TE50 Auto 400m ~14.2
T3 TE50 Man 400m ~14.1

T3 TS50 Auto 400m ~14.3
T3 TS50 Man 400m ~14.2

And as Shane has said these figures change alot with a simple exhaust mod.
