Here's a sneak peak at Trick and Mansweto's new car. The engine will be swapped out for their 694ci Ford big block Hemi, and will run a lenco 5 spd manual. It will be sorted with the N/A setup currently running their 6.9 sec ET, then once sorted the N2o gas will be added in 3 stages, to really get it motoring down that 1/4 mile. Look out for this one...

there is going to be some crazy nitrous cars next year, i can't wait. Staunch Racing (Johnny Wilson & Simon Kryger) have a full tube Camaro on the way which will be getting a 864ci engine with 4-stages of NOS. they will be racing in Outlaw 10.5

Just when you get the feeling racing is getting a bit mundane..... all the top boys in racing step it up another gear no one thought possible.

man this thing is going to be a weapon. I read a story somewhere that they were going to put the old 604 back in the capri and use it as a ride car, prob detune it to run high 7's or something. All they wanted out of the capri was a 6 something then retire it. I think it was in the extreme mag.

They sold the 604ci donk a while back but that was mentioned on their FB page a while back too. I'm sure they have a spare 1000hp toy that will fit the Capri somewhere.
Thatnew machine looks absofreakiloutly horn!!! Saw it online hinted the other day and what a very nice upgrade indeed.

The 604ci beast was sold to some QLDers, who got the boys to fit it to their Ford Probe. We just ran both cars at the Nationals at Eastern Creek, with the probe running 7.51 with Jason at the wheel.
The Capri i've been told don't touch Trent (smack fingers) as they will probably put their old small block back in the Capri, but i think it'll be too much headache to convert it back to small block again. The ride days were all set, but the powers that be kept screwing them over, and not letting them run when they had said, so it's still in negotiations.... Geez guys, don't tell me a secret eh? !!! lol. |

i just read an article on the capri...im just sstarting to turn my capri into drag car...hopefully oneday it will go as fast as theirs.
im looking at using a super 1uzfe(at this stage) until i get used this drag racing caper,then ill go a monster engine
