Hard to believe it was just noticed if it has been there for some time, especially since the car appears to be well over a year old by the registration. Seems quite obvious in the top photo.

How dirty was the car that you needed to wash it before you could see the lizard?

My dad had a 2006 VE Calais 6 Litre and the tailights use to fill up with dust, bugs and other rubbish. I had to fight Holden to get replacements, and I have noticed that antoher Calais V at work is the same.

Seems like Holden dont seal the lights correctly.

the warmth from inside th tailight can often attract critters, I used to have a car which always had spiders or bugs in it. Very creepy actually, didnt like it.

Got stuck in a small flood, up to the door panels. A week later bad smell happening. I looked everywhere for weeks and didn't find anything. Really ticked me off not to find something and kill the smell. Had a tread peel off from tyre a month later and slap under R/L wheel arch. Tyre people fixed the car damage "without predacious" and frog bones were found in rear.
I didn't worry about predacious just happy to know the stink was found and not a mystery.

PS. not sure about the gekko on clean screen, me think, me would have seen it..!

My neighbour purchased a brand new CX9 and there was a tiny lizard in the tail light, just like that one but smaller. It's quite interesting actually, as they ordered the car and it arrived at Mazda for pickup, it was inspected and no lizard was in it then, but before the car went home it was found to have a paint defect inside the jambs(or something like that I wasn't really paying attention) and after they got it back from repairs the lizard was there. Wierd little critters!

Back in 1984 I bought a 1980 Commodore 4 cylinder SL (stop laughing you mongrels...).
I was fitting a stereo, and found a couple of dollar bills under the carpet when running wires. Then I found a massive handful of little plastic "off cuts", the same colour as the interior plastics, which appeared to be the little "tags" on the end of mouldings from the press. They'd been chucked into the bottom of the passenger side door.
Then i noticed that the right hand air vent wasn't blowing as hard as the others, and pulled the vent to see if leaves had got in...and found three folded paper bags printed with "Hot Pies!". Must have been an after-lunch special, that car...
