mate, the lights DO NOT come apart...
i work at a headlight repair place and we cant get them apart... they have a solid sealant that just doesnt soften with heat like normal headlight sealant.... a lot of eiru cars have this sealant....... makes our job quite hard as the lights are a throwaway item when they get damaged...... |

without looking, its quite possibly been painted on the outside.... would be MUCH MUCH easier....
also where you've said you want to paint,,,, would be ilegal... the area at the top that is covering your parklight globe is a no no you are not allowed to cover ANY part of the lights path........ |

i dont know how they managed to cut the lights apart then, the sealant used in their construction is a dry solid type.....

Anything that requires a knife and screwdrivers to prise something apart doesnt sound all that appealing! Why not just get the headlight covers (assuming they have them for Fiesta although I think they would), paint them and see what you think? That way they're removable if you dont like the effect or if Constable Plod isnt very happy with them.

I find they look less "big" when you have the fog lights....

just cut them open make sure you cut off all the spray what you want make sure theres no moisture and seal up with normal sealant, though any gaps you will get condensing and moisture forming.
also nothing wrong witht he std headlights they look fine. you will proabably just be ing them up and then be stuck with ty lookign lights or having to buy new ones at a cost of about $600 + IMO |
