Default XR Wagon

Hey guys

I have been told that there was 296 ED XR6 wagons made .

I dont suppose anyone know what colors they where painted in ?? or how I could check ??

I added to my XR collection again last week by getting a wagon
its white and auto and has the little rear spoiler on the back and its stock as a rock .

So now I have 3 ED XR6 sedans red green black and 1 ED XR6 wagon ..

Cheers
Swanny

It's not much of a picture - I have only had it a month or so, when i saw it for sale - same colour & year as my EF, manual etc... I have to have it!

There was another ED XR6 wagon for sale in my local paper last weekend - Red, auto, 220Km's, 6 months rego.....$1650ono

I agree with the look of the EF XR front - like it was home made! I have resisted the temptation of fitting an EL XR bar, which looks much better but it's probably better to keep it original. I have had it for 10 years - it's amazing how many people have asked if it was original & didn't know Ford made an XR6 wagon.

My wife has an 01 AU XR6, so we have 2 ugly duckling XR models...

There was a black manual ED XR6 wagon for sale up here last year - parked out the front of a house at Teralba - a real nice car. I wonder how many black XR wagons were made?

Would be good if ya could find it .

I am not a fan of the roof racks ... I see a heap of wagons with them and are very happy that mine dont have them ..
BUT in saying that they would have come in handy in the last week down here . . . . We have flooding .

My EF hasn't got them either - thank god.. !

A mate had an EF XR wagon that had the roof rack option - it cost him $1K to have them removed & the roof repainted.

My EF XR wagon came with the factory "pensioner pack" option - colour coded front windscreen sunvisor & 3 venetian blinds... - also came with FTR 16's...

and the e-mail is sitting in my school e-mails box which due to me being IT Helpdesk and Network admin, i have about 3500 messages, 2100 of them unread (yes, i am too lazy)
