I was just in this thread in the show'n'shine section and got the following message when I went to page 3 - http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11220220

www.fordforums.com.au contains content from www.fordfiestaxr4.com, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.
Google has found malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed, and perhaps try again tomorrow or go somewhere else.

It's the first time this has happened to me on the site, so I'd just like for Admin team to be aware of it.

All good on my end. Running Mac OS though, may be different.

Nothing came up on mine. Using windows 7, Trend Mirco Titanium security. You probobly received a false positive. Happens time to time i find.

Is everybody checking page 3, because that is where I'm getting the alert. The link I posted takes you to page 1. Also, if it makes any differences I'm using Google Chrome as my browser

SM1DY what program / app / whatever generated your warning?

I see dead links to that site on the forum page. I googled for the linked site. In the search results google had it's "This site may harm your computer" type blurb.

EDIT: Yes, chrome gives me the same warning

There is one post on that page which links some images to fordfiestaxr4 that is probably why you are getting a warning

If your running windows a hacker may send a worm through or piggy back a virus of a legitimate websites as has been done a hundred times before. A hacker can put a programme that lies dormant on say this website and activates only at certain times. They could drop a keylogger programme into your computer and you wouldn;t know if you don't have protection.

Unfortunately if you use a computer you are always at risk.

^^^^^True, but on the scale of on-line threats getting on line with a PC is like walking through a Harley Davidson convention wearing a T-shirt that reads 1% take it up the ****. Where as a Mac on-line is like walking the dog around the block......relatively safe in comparison.
