Default passanger side mirror replace glass

ok so another question haha

the passanger side mirror of my brothers car is no existent for god knows how long haha,

is there any way to replace just the glass or do u have to replace the entire mirror unit.

i was thinking of just getting a new peice of glass cut and just silicon/glue it in place of the old one just not sure of how reliable it would be haha

cheers

I remember seeing the glass only on eBay genuine Ford and wasn't to expensive, so ask Ford you may be surprised.

I need to replace the glass on my drivers side....there are a couple of clips that hold the glass in, but one of them just fell out, so now the glass keeps falling down...

I have also heard they're not too expensive to replace...need to get on that

I replaced my passenger side mirror glass a few months ago.

You can buy just the mirror, cost is approx $40 from Ford.

Simple job and fitting instructions come with the item.
