When I lock the drivers door on the AU wagon it actuates all the locks. However when the drivers side doors are locked and I lift the front passengers side external handle the door opens and I hear both passenger door locks cycle. Is it a dodgey actuator in the front passengers door?

Your passenger front door actuator needs replacing. Without a doubt.

I agree with Scotty85. Use trial and error to see which one has gone.

The wagon changed hands yesterday so no more door lock troubles for me. I just read your write up on replacing the internal mirror on an AU. That is my next job on my XR6, so it will probably 2 beers I owe you. Regards Jono. |
