Favourite Aussie
XA GT Coupe FAT - FAT - FAT - Love the XA front end......like a shark looking for its prey........and the rear end on the Coupes is just design genius..... Coupled with the Clevo 351 - Aussie muscle at its best I reckon. Favourite Yankee Well - its gotta be the Mustang GT500 Super Snake - an absolute demon in pics and in the flesh.....750 HP and 590 ft./lbs. of torque

XB Goss
XC Cobra XB and XC Coupes (looks) FG GT-E (Looks and performance) Also a fan of the XE ESP. Still see the occasional XE, but mostly Falcons or S-Packs. So an ESP would be a treat... Aspiration...learning towards XC Coupe as a weekender as a cruiser, so performance not overly important. 302 Clevo would be just fine at minimum.

Very difficult question!
If I could only pick one, I guess I'd go with a '69 Mach 1 SCJ. (Hey, you Crown Vic fans, I've got a 2001 Police Interceptor with a supercharger. I factory ordered it, then added the supercharger in 2005.)

You'll like this picture. I took it when I toured the St. Thomas Assembly Plant last June. Production (and the plant) shut down September 15th.

That's easy, XA GT Coupe, I like the front end better than the XB, it just looks more aggressive and angry. And of all the XA coupes I've ever laid eyes on my favourite has got to be the 74 Goss car in Blue ;
The stance is perfect, the wheels are awesome, the thing looks like it's going 170mph just sitting still Bushbasher

------> I'm biased.
Nothing sweeter than the 69 Mustang Mach 1. Yup, that's the one. For me it'll always be the 69 Mach 1. <itsumademo> |

If you've never driven one of these cars, they're very entertaining, if not particularly fast. The handling is adequate. The Police Interceptors have very stiff front springs. The body doesn't roll much in turns. You sit very high in them, thanks in part to the full perimeter frame underneath. My three previous cars were Mustangs, so the first time I drove my Crown Vic, I felt like I was driving an Econoline. Handling is adequate and very predictable. The transmission doesn't shift very quickly (even though shifts are slightly firmer in Police Interceptors than in regular models), and due to the massive size and weight, the chassis is slow to react. I have never experienced oversteer in the car. The rear will not slide around. The car has a calming effect on traffic. I often see people buckling seatbelts as I drive past them. Police officers used to wave to me a lot, but I haven't seen that in years.
