Default Ford Focus Turbo on Top Gear

Watched yesterdays episode of Top Gear, and Clarkson drove the turbo focus around their track.t
To my surprise, he raved about it, being better than the Astra turbo and Golf GTi !
He said it had heaps of front end grip, which was easy to see, as the rear tyres were lifting off the ground everytime he threw it into a hard turn.
Said there was heaps of torque from the little Volvo powerplant, and it looks S#it hot IMO !!!!
If i was in the market for a small car, this would be it !

Ford Focus RS - 1.32.2

Lotus Esprit V8 - 1.32.5

Audi TT V6 - 1.32.7

MG ZT - 1.33

Noble - 1.33.1

Mercedes SL 55 AMG - 1.33.2

It looks the goods. I'm not much of a fan of small cars but that looks real neat.

ST

The RS was a limited production run a few years ago. RS is the pinnacle of Fast Fords in the UK/Europe.

Ah that is great news! I've been praying that they are an awesome package, Top Gear usually have some common sense too.

A beautiful piece of machinery.

I am aiming to have one as a daily when I finish Uni in two odd years!

i download them from mininova.

The time they got for the ST was actually done in the wet, they reckon it would be quicker than golf in the dry

is this similar to the XR5 that was at the SMS ?
EDIT: Just read melbzetecs post

I drove one a few weeks back. A brilliant car and certainly would buy one if i was after a small/ medium car. It would be between it and the GTI. I would probably get the xr5. Looks better
