Dont confuse TCI with TCE they are a different company. Also 220 was very lucky for me...Also be prepared to lose some responsiveness down low.

5000 stall speed would be drags only application.Otherwise it will never lockup in daily driving

Seriously, I've had a number of people from the forums in my car and they can say that, in normal driving, limp home is not an issue. The only time it happens is due to massive heat buildup (such as stalling it to 3000+rpm and holding it there). As soon as the heat is cleared (airflow through the radiator) it goes back to normal operations.

Mine flash stalls to 2800 and has only gone into LHM once.

i'm running a 5000 TCI converter and i had a custom ground cam made by crow cams. though my cam is for a turbo appliction.
Why such a big stall on a turbo car? Turbo's don't need to rev to get power, a 2500stall would suit the car a lot better, and you can still drive it on the street.

It will still lockup fine, as long as you bring the RPM down enough for the TCC to engage, and the convertor is fitted with the TCC. The convertor in my EF now will still lock up at 75kmh in 4th if it desires....

I had a 2500 TCE one in my Turbo AU. It worked fairly well.
the size stal that i will be running was recomened by the company that built my gearbox. it is a bit high but the car isn't being built to be a daily driver.
