Default v8 power steering pulley has split or cut in it?

as title states i was rooting around the engine today and found a leaking heater tap no dramas however i noticed my power steering pulley has a split or cut right through the ribbed bits of the pulley is this normal? if not is it possible to replace just the pulley or is a wrecker pump the go cheers paul.
