Default Ford King Dick adjustable wrench

Ok guys, I was cleaning out the shed today and came across an old adjustable wrench. It is Ford King Dick branded. Does anyone know any details about them? Where would it have come from? A car tool kit I assume.

What an unfortunate name. Sounds like a tool Dick Smith would have sold.

King Dick have made some excellent quality tools over the years - quite a reputable brand (I still have, and use king dick tools in my work kit)
Can't help with the Ford branding on it though...

Thanks for the link DJR. Their forum is popular - 7 members.

Their contact form doesn't work.

I have sent a couple of emails to the National Ford Tool Collectors. I will see if I get a response.
