Default No indicators

Hey guys i just got myself a cheap NL and today the indicators stopped working.The hazards word and they flash when the car is locked and unlocked.
Any idea where to start?

check the harness connector on the colum. i have had one come loose there. i also have had the stalk pack it in too

Hi. Another thing is the contacts in the hazard switch, If it happens again just work the hazard switch a few times which cleans the muck off the switch contacts. Cheers MD

smart lock flash is seperate from the indicator flasher system.

As above, common problem is lack or nill use of hazzard switch, since the contacts in them dont get used, the eletrical current needs to pass through via the hazzard switch prior to it reaching the stalk contacts.

Or if the flasher unit has been in there since 98 high chances it highly worn and on its way out
