These are really great !! Is there any way you could help me fit gauges in the same place ? I have an EB Fairmont Ghia and don't really want to use a pillar mounted set-up.
I would really appreciate your advise and assistance (would be willing to pay you). Steven. : |

My best mate has just done similar not long ago. It looks great, very neat.
Visibility seems fine to me!

I can still, put the gauges up on a bit of angle if i want, i have left everything
easially removable if i change my mind. Visibility is OK when driving, i mean, its not like its a speedo which you have to look at every coupla secs/mins. You just glance over ever so often. Only thing which bothers me slightly is that they are too bright at night, they light up the cabin a bit. Will see how i go, over the next coupla days. But thanks for your comments fellas, it makes the work even more worth it. Cheers.

Maybe you can use some tint film over the top of them so you can still read them but it will reduce the light intensity.

Oh, the reason why i put them there is because, by law in vic you are not allowed to have anything above the steering wheel obscuring your view......this even includes chritmas tree air fresheners hung from the mirrror + Pillar pods look ****y in ricers, could not imagine what it would look like in a e-series. . And i rekon it looks neat and i can **** it all off in 30 mins if need be.

Whaddya got there? Oil pressure and trans temp or something?
Comments regarding riceness of pillar mounts are fair - but try reading a boost gauge that is 60 degrees below your field of vision as you hit peak HP and you'll understand why mine is mounted in the corner of the dash and the A pillar

I got water temp, taken from the thermostat....I used a second sender, so both the dash one and that one works.....therefore if you are interested, "N" in normal is 80 deg and clutch fan comes on at just below 100 deg which is about where the "M" is.
The other one is oil pressure.

ANYWAYS..... Looking good, i had a similar setup in my old interior housing two big volt gauges . For me the angle wasn't too bad but would have been better if they were angled slightly towards the driver. I now have four gauges that i don't know were to place :/
