Can anyone tell me the correct name of this part? I was trying to describe it to a parts guy at Ford but couldn't think of a name for it. It goes in the hole on the cable end of the clutch fork on a T5 gearbox and connects the cable to the fork:

Yes dampener sounds good to me. I think I'll go with that. Seems to appropriately describe the function of it
