I'm looking at buying BA XR leather front and rear seats to put in my AUII Forte. Just wondering if this will be a mammoth task of fitting or whether it is not insanely difficult.
Also what sort of extra costs it will incur along the way and what sort of difficulties I could encounter. Cheers

can't be done without an engineers certificate and even then it is a big job. the mounts are completly different and if you try to just knock something up your insurance is invalid.

did the AU`s in the high series(fairlanes/ltd) have electrics? i have the black leather in the xr6 which are very comfy, have to say though, i bought an old lexus with full electric buckets, it`s very cool to just hit a button and seats move up/down, forward/back, lay forward/back, much nicer for arthritic old farts .

Some Fairlanes and most, if not all LTD's had 6 way drivers and passengers front seats
