Unsubscribing from threads

How do I permanetly unsubscribe from threads. My email account is just too choked up and want to stop alerts pushing through.

I can see how to delete threads manualy, but if I post in another thread it will automatically subscribe me. How do I stop this?

I think it is in your User CP on the top left hand corner, go into your CP and you can change it there

Go to UserCP->Edit Options-> Default subscriptions. Change the setting there.

I have mine set to automatically subscribe me to threads I reply too but not everyone likes that setting. So that is where you change it
