i have an ea series 2 that is being converted to gas research, now, it has 2 old school looking tps's screwed ontop of each other which were screwed to the throttle body.
my question is if i chop both plugs (2x3wires) black, green, red and connect them to the one newer style loom plug, will that work? cheers nick

The older EA ones run 1v to 4.5v while the newer ones run from 0.7v to 4.5v if the ECU does not get correct volatge it can cuase harsh gearbox changes.
But you can just cut and change the plugs, bith have 3 wires and do the same thing.
